Johnston County Arts Council’s Third Arts and Food Festival
The Johnston County Arts Council will host its fourth Annual Art and Food Festival Gala at 6:30 p.m. Friday, March 1st at the Johnston County Agricultural Auditorium.
The fundraiser will generate monies to assist the Arts Council with funding for the 2012-2013 Artists-in-the-Schools program, in providing scholarships for Johnston Community College students studying Fine Arts, and free community programming including; Painting at Melody’s Coffeehouse, plein air paint-outs, Johnston Health art exhibits, as well as the 29th season of Music for the Lunch Bunch.
There will also be a juried arts show for the event. Artwork will be on display and available for purchase from Johnston County’s most talented visuals artists.
Also attendees will be treated to delicious sample dishes from 12-15 of Johnston County’s finest restaurants.
