Johnston County Arts Council’s Third Arts and Food Festival
The Johnston County Arts Council will host its third Annual Arts and Food Festival Gala at 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 27th at the Johnston County Agricultural Auditorium.
The fundraiser will generate monies to assist the Arts Council with funding for the 2011-2012 Artists-in-the-Schools program, in providing scholarships for Johnston Community College students studying Fine Arts, and free community programming including; Painting at the Orchard House, plein air paint-outs, Johnston Health art exhibits/demos, well as the 28th season of Music for the Lunch Bunch.
There will also be a juried arts show for the event. Artwork will be on display and available for purchase from Johnston County’s most talented visuals artists.
